Responsible AI Beginner
Human review is when a person checks an AI's work to keep it safe and correct.
Human review means a real person checks an AI's answer, drawing, plan, or decision before people rely on it.
Why does it help? People catch mistakes, check facts, protect others, notice confusing answers, and add common sense, the everyday judgment that AI can be missing.
Without it, mistakes can get shared, people get confused, unsafe advice can slip through, and important things get missed.
So humans help by checking facts and sources, finding and fixing errors, approving good work, and asking important questions.
For example, an AI suggests watering plants three times a day. A science teacher reviews it, fixes it to once a week, and now the answer is correct.
Remember: AI can help, but humans still matter. Checking trusted work is smart, and teamwork makes safer answers.
Human review (human-in-the-loop) inserts people into AI workflows to catch errors, verify facts, apply judgment, and approve high-stakes outputs. It is essential where mistakes are costly, and it pairs with guardrails and testing. The goal is augmentation: AI handles scale, humans handle judgment and accountability.
