For a long time, "I saw it with my own eyes" meant something was true. But now AI can fake photos, voices, and whole videos — so seeing something is no longer proof that it's real. The good news? You don't need to be scared or believe nothing. You just need three questions.

If you can't answer these, that's your signal to slow down. "I'm not sure yet" is a perfectly smart thing to say.
The feeling clue. Fakes often work by hitting your feelings hard and fast — a jolt of anger, fear, or "wow!" That rush is designed to make you share before you think. So here's the rule: the more something makes you feel, the more it's worth checking.
